Isaiah ; 2: 3
2. In the last days the mountain of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it.
3. And many peoples will come and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways so that we may walk in His paths.” For the law will go forth from Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
It is my sincere hope that as you read this you will inspired and your faith will increase. I pray you will be emboldened to: take courageous steps with our Lord Jesus as we ready for his second coming. I believe your perspective to life and trials will change. May you have; a divine mountain top experience as you read on. Perspective has everything to do with the way we process our thinking and the way objects appear or how we see them. Adjust the technological programing of your eyes and thinking. A renewed mindset. Jesus could not throw himself down the temple or pinnacle cliff, because he was the pinnacle temple. He was the highest point of elevation.Mathew 4:6 You are the temple of God! Don’t allow yourself to be thrown down.
I travelled to the border of Kenya and Tanzania. I found myself in a town called Moishe in Tanzania. I had spent 6 hours traveling to witness the great sight of Kilimanjaro that stood before me.
Kilimanjaro is the highest free standing mountain in the world. The highest mountain in Africa.
I was in awe and wonder. I am one of those people that whatever I see, I try to find Jesus or see Jesus in it. If meet a person I scan for Jesus in them. I can see a stone and look for Jesus. I see a tree by the river and I see the trees mentioned in Psalms 1. If I see a fig tree …I see the cursed fig tree…That is just how I’m wired to see things. The technology programming of my eyes are in constant search of Jesus and his word everywhere. David said: he could see Jesus in the handiworks that testify his Glory:
Psalm 19:
The heavens declare his Glory…the firmament shows his handiwork… creation testifies of Jesus, the maker.
We need to spend more time in nature: Looking at something so high and awesome. Your thoughts are elevated, uplifted to the lofty heights. I felt the mountain declare the glory of God!
I immediately recalled all the wonderful things that happened in the Bible on Mountain tops.
Encounters with God, manifestation of Glory, Visions, epiphanies, sermons, commandments and transfiguration. All occurred on mountain tops.
The awe and wonder and splendor of this natural Edifice (landmark ) standing tall and rising above everything else! So visible from many kilometers away. I felt the Glory of God!
May you life be Visible again from afar.
May you rise like edifice to the highest possible level that God has spoken over your life.
May your gain spiritual height as you read on.
The Bible says we are seated far above …. In heavenly realms… meaning we have an altitude of a mountain summit perspective. A heightened spiritual sense. An elevated mindset.
You are above your situation.
You are above your circumstances.
You are above your problem ….. far far above.
Ephesians 1:21 You are of a higher level. You are in a higher place with Jesus Christ.
Jude 1:20
Our destiny with prayer in the Holyspirit is a higher and higher reality.
Higher and higher we go with the Holyspirit in prayer. Until we reach the Mountain of God.
Higher destiny.
Higher experiences.
Higher thinking.
Higher commitment.
Higher rulership.
Higher authority.
Rise higher when challenges come.
Remember the serpent that was lifted up in the desert was raised high on a pole. They had to lift their minds, thinking and believe higher and look! Look upwards, look higher. John 3:14
So the son of man was lifted.
Spiritual height is our purpose for a meaningful life! Grow up spiritually, rise like an edifice. Emerge, rise forth! Stop hiding your spiritual height! Mountain top perspective changes how you see things. Jude 1:20
Be processed by God
I began to ask, what are the processes involved in becoming a landmark or edifice.
What does it involve to be a spiritual landmark(edifice) in your home/ family/community/church.
The Glory of Kilimanjaro is in its story! The process, the formation, it’s relentless survival. Sometimes we can see the glory of something or someone but never fully can understand their story, their processing, their resilient survivalist attributes.
When God is refining you, it’s for his Glory
When God is processing you it’s for his Glory.
One day you will emerge as a landmark for his Glory.
Isaiah 48:10…… I have refined you, but not as silver is refined, Rather I have refined you in the furnace of suffering….. stop crying my beloved. Put away the tears… you are a spiritual landmark in the making. An Edifice emerging.
You have to see it to believe it. Kilimanjaro is Breathtaking and stunning imagery of survival landmark. Towering high above everything. Solid rock. If you survive the weathering processes of life. You will rise like a tower. You will stand tall. Your spiritual height in life is determined by what you can withstand, conquer. Heat, pressure, cold and winds have blown all around it for years, and it is now a monument for all to see, to marvel at.
Isaiah 53:3
Jesus was described as a man of sorrows , he was despised and rejected of men and we esteemed him not……. Yet, he withstood the pressures and now he is our ROCK.
Greatness comes at a price. Jesus during his lifetime survived opposition ridicule and weathering from all sides. But now he is our spiritual landmark Rock,
the stone the builders rejected is now the corner stone Psalm 118:22
Let them despise you.
Let them reject you.
Let them Oppose you.
Let them mistreat you.
You will survive the weathering of life. You shall stand tall for all to see the preservation and goodness of God in your life. They will see it, You will be visible again.
Kilimanjaro survived the volcanic eruption heat, the pressure winds, the rain, the sun the weathering process.
You are a survivor. God is refining you through the refiners fire.
You are going to be a spiritual landmark for God!
You will rise up. Your suffering will draw people to God one day.
Millions of people from all around the world travel to see this Mountain. A monument of survival, resilience and conquest.
We are are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ who loved us. Romans 8:37
Every triumph and conquest you make, you are being elevating spiritually. The more conquest ( battles) you survive God will increase your spiritual height.
What do mountains symbolize:
Immovability & Steadfastness
Rock Solid.
Survival.
Strength.
Timelessness and durability.
Endurance.
Power to overcome.
I felt the Glory of God permeate through me as I starred at this enormous mountain.
Mountains are sacred, there are spiritual portals, where Heaven and earth meet. Gateways to Godly encounters. The high altitudes of human spirit.
I thought of all the prophets that had encounters with God on the mountain.
Moses
Elijah
Noah, Aaron, Ezekiel and Zechariah. I thought of my own mountain encounters.
I remembered all the mountains listed in the Holy Bible.
Mt Zion
Mt Sinai
Mt Tabor
Mt of Olives
Mt Hor
Mt Moriah
Mt Ararat
Mt Nebo
Mt Carmel
Glory Hallelujah! I felt that these were all turning points in history. I believed my trip to be a turning point in my life.
May your life turn around as you encounter God on the mountain tops. The testing and trial of Abraham was on a mountain (Genesis 22: 1~19) He emerged an edifice, a landmark of faith. The father of faith. Mountain are places where sacrificial offerings are made.
The Ten Commandments (exodus19~20:21) were on a mountain. Moses emerged a prophet.b
Spiritual access
The best view of the mountain can be seen from Kenya. But the Mountain is in Tanzania. I felt how horrible it must be for Kenya to see the landmark but not have access to it.
Sometimes in life we can see amazing things happen to others, yet we ourselves lack access to those things and experiences. Jesus Christ is our access, advocate and bridge. Your prophets of the land are also access carriers. The key code is in respecting them, honoring them. Without access ( spiritual key code) you will never enjoy what you know and see to-be real. Even to enjoy Wi-Fi you need a code. Same as the spiritual blessings. You need a spiritual key code. Your Prophets. Jesus says I have sent you prophets but you have (stoned ) them. Denied them. Prophets carry the access code.
Luke 13:34 KJV
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
Seek access to you miracle. It’s there already provided by Jesus through salvation.
Seek access to your blessings it’s already there through the cross. However Gods store room needs access key code.
The climb of life
It takes 7 days to climb the mountain. 4 days up. 3 days down.
Climbing the mountain is similar to climbing life. Physical , mental and spiritual strength is tested. The mountain climb is a test piece of endurance, maintenance, adjustment and acclimatize. You can’t come not prepared. Everyday you climb elevate you must sleep in that area. To acclimatize. The pressure is too much for the body to take in one day,
7 is a number of perfection. Be perfected in the Lord. Slowly. Don’t rush to get power at once. Rapid ascension to higher levels can damage you. Line upon line. Precept upon precept. Here a little, there a little.. Isaiah 28:13 Many young people want power immediately without acclimatizing. This is where the problem starts. Power without due processing.
Lastly I am reminded of the time Jesus climbed the Mountain of transfiguration, (Mathew 17: 1) he left some disciples behind. Because they had not acclimatized to a spiritual level and spiritual height to witness the holy things that happened on that mountain. He only took Peter, James and John. Be prepared to climb higher with Christ. Don’t be left behind. Amen,
