HARARE – Zimbabwe international Marvelous Nakamba converted his spot kick to help Luton Town defeat Coventry City 6-5 on penalties and earn promotion into the English Premiership in a Championship play-off final played at Wembley Saturday.

The Zimbabwe Warriors star, loaned to Luton by EPL side Aston Villa, featured in the entire match including 30 minutes of extra time.

He later converted the third penalty kick for his side as Luton registered a 100 percent conversion rate in their spot kicks.

During regulation time, Luton was first to score through Jordan Clark in the first half but allowed legendary Warriors star Peter Ndlovu’s former club to claw back with a superb strike taken from outside the box by Gustavo Hamer in the second period.
