Scott Sakupwanya’s Betterbrands Gold company was on Tuesday unveiled as the new kit sponsor for the Warriors.
Betterbrands’ sponsorship deal with ZIFA is valued at US$80 000 and will cover the team’s 2025 AFCON Qualifiers campaign.
During the period Betterbrands will be covering travel, leisure and matchday apparel.
Commenting on the sponsorship deal, Betterbrands Gold Chief Executive Officer Tonde Sakupwanya said his organization is happy to be helping the national team.
“We are thrilled to support the senior men’s national team as they embark on this crucial journey to qualify for 2025 AFCON.
“At Betterbrands Gold we believe in the power of sports to unite and inspire.
“We are proud to play a part in the Warrior’s success,” said Sakupwanya.
ZIFA’s Chief Executive Officer Yvonne Manwa said the sponsorship is a huge boost for the senior men’s team.
“This partnership with Betterbrands is a significant boost for our national team.
“The support provided through this sponsorship ensures that our players are well equipped and prepared for every aspect of their campaign,” said Manwa.
Zimbabwe kicks off its 2025 AFCON Qualifiers campaign with a date against Kenya on the 6th of September at Mandela National Stadium in Uganda before hosting Cameroon four days later at the same venue. — NewZimbabwe
