After parting ways with Dynamos, coach Genesis Mangombe has joined ambitious Northern Region Division One league side Scotland FC.

Mangombe was unveiled at Scotland on Tuesday as the new club’s head coach.

As part of his contract, Mangombe was given a brand new Toyota HD6 vehicle by the club, which was handed to him upon arrival.

Scotland is owned by Mabvuku Tafara MP Scott Sakupwanya and has made waves since their establishment early this year.

The club is on a spending spree which has seen them leaving no stone unturned to lure high-quality players.

Last week they unveiled former CAPS United defender Ronald Pfumbidzai who is coming from the Betway Premiership in South Africa where he was playing for SuperSport.

Other than Pfumbidzai, the club also lured former Highlanders and Dynamos midfielder King Nadolo from Yadah Stars as well as veteran midfielder Allan Gahadzikwa from Bikita Minerals.

Scotland is currently occupying 4th position in the Northern Region Division One league with 39 points, three behind log leaders MWOS FC who are on 42 points. — NewZimbabwe
