Raphinha
Barcelona — The rebuild at Barcelona is continuing with the club eyeing a move for Leeds United winger Raphinha, according to reports.
Raphinha, whose contract doesn’t expire until June 2024, has caught the eye during his two seasons at Elland Road, becoming a Brazil international off the back of his fine form too.
The 25-year-old’s displays have earned him suitors and according to Fabrizio Romano, they have grown with Barcelona joining the list.
Chelsea are also in the hunt for his signature, but those plans are on standby.
Talks between Barcelona and Leeds haven’t begun though as any potential fee depends on their Premier League status, with the club in relegation trouble, and any buy-out clauses.
Despite Leeds’ woes, Raphinha has demonstrated his quality once again for the Yorkshire outfit.
He has nine goals in 27 top-flight appearances, alongside three assists – including one on Sunday for Joe Gelhardt to score their stoppage-time winner against Norwich City.
