Zim dancehall chanter, Jah Master, has shifted focus to work on his debut album.
Born Rodney Mashandure, the singer reckons he has come of age and wants to give his fans more quality music.
The Hello Mwari hit-maker has revealed plans to release a six-track EP in the build-up to the album.
“I am currently in the studio putting final touches on my first album which I hope will prove my mettle.
“The EP is titled Composition and I have worked the magic with Cymplex on the project.
“We are already recording visuals for the project and hope to drop the project this March,” said Jah Master.
The youthful chanter is also busking in the glory of his latest video Skhangazile which is trending on online platforms.
The video is based on a love story.
“I have released Skhangazile after taking a short break, the song is based on sad love story but urges people not to lose hope in their partners.
“The feedback has been amazing and the fans are encouraging me to aim higher,” he said.
Jah Master has also revealed plans to tour America in May.
He is also billed to perform in South Africa and UK as a build up to the US tour. — HMetro
