HARARE – PHD leader Walter Magaya is expected to be released from remand prison today after his lawyers posted bail this afternoon.
The cleric, who was granted US$3000 on Tuesday by the High Court, stayed behind bars despite the legal relief, with some reports suggesting he faced rearrest on more rape charges.
But his lawyers posted bail this afternoon, paving way for his release.
He faces multiple charges of fraud and rape and, along with his wife, Tendai, is expected back in court on November 18.
